"Ultimate Fishing Experience in Bermuda"

Bermuda is one of the world's finest destinations for anglers, especially in light tackle fishing. In fact, anglers from all around the world travel to the island every July for the Bermuda Triple Crown Billfish Championships, which is a trio of deep sea fishing tournaments with hefty cash purses.

The prime big game fishing season in Bermuda is typically from April to November, though fish also run in the off season winter months. Starting around May warmer waters bring in larger schools of mahi-mahi, yellowfin tuna and wahoo.

I unfortunately wasn’t able to fish in the summer months so I still jumped on a sport fisher when I visited in January and was able to catch a Wahoo and Yellowfin Tuna. If you plan on booking a fishing charter while you’re there I highly recommend Hakuna Matata Charters out of Hamilton. Trust me you don't have to be a professional to catch the big one and these guys will show you the ropes and put you on the fish.

Bermuda has some of the best deep-sea fishing in the Atlantic. You'll easily find marlin ,tuna

and wahoo just offshore and if you’re really lucky catch a breeching whale or two.
